The Aston Martin Rapide Concept was first presented in 2006 as a fully functional design for the first true four-door Aston Martin.

The Rapide Concept was a stunning exploration of Aston Martin's form language and an experiment in how to summarise the company’s core values in a stunning and sophisticated four-door sports car.

The Aston Martin Rapide has four full-sized seats and an excellent amount of luggage space that can be accessed via a full sized tailgate. There is more than enough room to cater for family holidays, golf trips and business trips for four adults.

New Aston Martin Rapide

Aston Martin’s Director of Design, Marek Reichman, stated that Aston Martin “wanted to make the most beautiful four-door sports car in the world”. The Rapide was therefore shaped by the desire to create a genuine four-door sports car with few aesthetic compromises.
