Harwoods Club was launched for our customers and to promote our dealer events, showroom launches of new models, special offers, ride & drive and off-road events, coupled with special occasions such as our golf day, horse racing opportunities and Harwoods Racing Club syndicate shareholding. Also to develop the Club to give something back to you as valued Harwoods Club Members. Looking forward to 2012 we have already commissioned a Brand New Website and along with this a new Member Area for you. Inside you will find everything that you had before but on top of that, a select list of affiliations with some of our business partners around the South such as Cowdray Park, Slinfold Golf & Country Club & The Goodwood Estate to mention but a few. We will also have our own Harwoods Promotions running throughout the year so keep an eye out for the changes and keep visiting the members area.
I am still very keen to go forward with Harwoods Club and develop it to carry out all of our complimentary promotions as well as offering a few contributory activities and opportunities. Brett Ward joined us in March as our new Marketing Manager and along with the website build is heavily invlolved in the Harwoods Club regeneration project.
The one really popular take up has been with the Harwoods Horse Racing syndicate. This syndicate has purchased two well bred and therefore potentially top class two-year-old racehorses, one in America and the other at Newmarket, for racing during the 2011 & 2012 flat racing season. The horses named Rock Song and True Prince will run in the Harwoods Racing Club name and colours. The share purchase price includes all expenses until the end of the 2012 racing season when the two horses will be sold and all sales income, less expenses, plus prize money will be paid out equally to the each share member.

The Harwoods Horse Racing Club will be limited to just 150 shares. The horses are in training with Group One winning trainer, Amanda Perrett, at the prestigious Coombelands Racing Stables in Pulborough, West Sussex, alongside David Oughton who has been appointed as Racing manager of the club. Owners are welcome to come and see the horses progress on the gallops as well as on the racecourse. In addition there will be special Harwoods Racing Club hospitality days at Coombelands during the season.
There are now just a handful of shares available in this racing club and anybody who would like to join will be extremely welcome. The cost of a share in this two-horse racing club, including all expenses, is just £2,595. Moving onwards to 2012 Amanda has recently aquired some new Yearlings which are now available to view at Coombelands website where you can also view the lates new and pictures of both True Prince and Rock Song.
