Land Rover Cambelt Maintenance

The cambelt is one of the hardest working components in an engine. It makes sure that all camshafts spin at the same speed, at the same time.

Made from a rubber based compound that deteriorates with frequent use, it shoud be replaced in good time to avoid serious engine damage. A problem with a cambelt that is left unattended, stretched or misaligned is a significant reduction in engine power.

We recommend that your cambelt is replaced every five years or every 75,000 miles, whichever comes first. This will ensure optimum safety and performance at all times. Cambelt replacement is a complex job but our team of experts at Harwoods Land Rover will get the job done professionally and ensure you drive away with confidence.

All servicing and repair work is carried out using Land Rover Genuine Parts. Each individual component is designed and manufactured to the original specification, to work in conjunction with and not affect other operating systems in the vehicle.
