Aston Martin has been able to include James Bond on its exclusive client list for more than 50 years. In the latest film the iconic British spy once again calls on Aston Martin to help him defeat some of the world’s most evil criminals.
To mark the release of Spectre, due to arrive in cinemas on 26 October 2015, the luxury British car manufacturer has produced a special DB9 GT Bond Edition. With just 150 models coming off the production line, the Bond Edition is likely to be much sought after.
The Bond model adds style and sophistication with a special trim, boosted equipment and advanced accessories. The standard 6.0-litre V12 grand tourer has special Spectre Silver paint, sterling silver Aston Martin badges and 007 Bond Edition exterior badging. Inside, you will find exclusive numbered sill plaques with the 007 logo as well as gun barrel embroidery and a Bond Edition start-up screen to access the AMi II touch-sensitive infotainment system.
Buyers will also receive a collection of Bond-themed accessories alongside the car, including a 21-inch Globe-Trotter trolley case and Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m James Bond Limited Edition watch.
Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer said: “Aston Martin and James Bond are intrinsically linked in the minds of many of our enthusiasts and, indeed, owners, worldwide.
“In the run-up to the launch of the new film, Spectre, which sees Bond behind the wheel of the DB10, we are very happy to be able to celebrate the partnership with this superb limited edition DB9 GT collector’s item.”
