Harwoods Land Rover Basingstoke was purchased from Webbers of Basingstoke by Harwoods in 2007, together with the accompanying Jaguar business.We offer both Land Rover sales and aftersales departments and house the Group’s JLR contact centre.In total, there are around 80 staff based at the site, which covers the Basingstoke, Winchester, Newbury, Southampton, Alton and Farnham territory.

Job Purpose

The role of the Car Park Host is to:

Effectively manage the parking of customer cars as they arrive/depart, making sure the customer areas are free, as well as making sure that the car park is neat & tidy. A clean driving licence is required and the ability to be able to converse with customers as they arrive and point them in the right direction and ensure all customers and visitors receive an immediate welcome

Key Responsibilities


  • Direct customers towards the seating/reception area and offer refreshments while they are waiting
  • Ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards
  • Manage parking areas
