Harwoods Jaguar Chichester originally housed the Jaguar brand when it was relocated from our Pulborough site. We currently encompass a 6 car showroom with a 35 pre-owned vehicle display area, a large fleet department, a 9 bay workshop and an Express Factors parts business, which supplies customers throughout the south of England. We are proud to be one of the retailers selected as an accredited Jaguar-R Performance Centre, enabling us to showcase and supply the most exciting and dynamic of Jaguar products. In addition, our service department is also an accredited Land Rover Service Centre. We employ over 90 people, many of whom have been with us for in excess of 15 years. The whole site is scheduled for an incredible redevelopment in 2018.

Harwoods Aston Martin Chichester began operating in 2002, when the Group were awarded the franchise to operate alongside Jaguar. In 2008, a fully dedicated Aston Martin centre was developed at the current site in Terminus Road, encompassing a five new car showroom and seven pre-owned display. We operate with a small, dedicated sales and aftersales team of around ten employees.

Job Purpose

The role ofthe Showroom Host is to:

  • Ensure customers and visitors receive an immediate welcome.
  • Ensure all calls, both internal and external are answered and dealt with efficiently within the correct process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure reception area is staffed and kept tidy at all times.
  • Direct customers towards the seating area and offer refreshments while they are waiting.
  • Handle and co-ordinate all calls and visitors, taking full details of the caller’s business, paging members of staff as needed.
  • Establish and maintain a system to monitor the whereabouts of key staff at all times.
  • Keep customer refreshments stocked up at all times.
  • Keep customer waiting area clean and tidy and clear of crockery etc at all times; also kitchen area in showroom.
  • Correctly process all outgoing post ready for despatch each evening.
  • Ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards.
