Aston Martin introduce Assured Provenance for heritage sports cars

Aston Martin has been making prestigious cars for 102 years, and many of its classic models from throughout the 20th century are still driven and loved. To offer owners of its heritage cars a comprehensive background assessment, Aston has unveiled its Assured Provenance certification scheme.

The programme offers four levels of verification, with in-depth assessments carried out at Aston Martin Works in Buckinghamshire. This facility is internationally renowned for the standard of its restoration and repair work, and the visual and mechanical investigations into vintage Aston Martin models will uphold these high standards.

Successful cars will be awarded Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum status. The level achieved depends of the history and significance of the model as well as its condition. Details of each model will be held in a special archive. Owners are presented with a Heritage Assured Provenance certificate, as well as dashboard and sill plaques to display on their car. Digital data of your model and a book of photographs will also come with the certification.

The first cars to be submitted are being assessed throughout October, and owners will be waiting with anticipation for the results. To find out more about the Assured Provenance scheme or to browse Aston Martin’s current model range, please contact Harwoods Aston Martin in Chichester.
