Tom Dixon’s 2015 Multiplex event is timed to coincide with this year’s London Fashion Week, the London Design Festival, the BFI London Film Festival and the Frieze London art fair. Hosted at The Old Selfridges Hotel, the event explores the sensory future of retail by celebrating the best of British design, technology, fashion, film and interiors.
Aston Martin is participating in the event, placing its world-famous design at the heart of British retail. The DBX Concept is the star of the show, a model created to challenge perceptions of the luxury segment and reach out to a wider global audience.
Fusing cutting-edge technology and sublime style, the DBX Concept showcases the progression of the brand’s design language. Unconventional materials are used inside and out to pique the interest and create an interactive and immersive environment.
The Multiplex event will also host technology, home, fashion, beauty and jewellery departments. Its creator, Tom Dixon, said the event is “a prototype shop for the future, a multiple stage for new ideas”.
The Multiplex event is open now at The Old Selfridges Hotel in London, and you can visit every day until October 15. You can also explore the new model selection at Harwoods Aston Martin in Chichester.
