Implementing the new Audi design language, the new A7 Sportback strikes the perfect balance of brains and beauty. Premium design combines with cutting-edge digital technology to deliver a truly sophisticated four-door coupé.
The new A7 Sportback has been redesigned in line with Audi’s latest design language. The iconic silhouette is still instantly recognisable, but you can expect sharper lines, a broader grille and a striking new rear flat light strip. Opt for the top-of-the-range model and you’ll add Audi’s HD Matrix LED headlights with laser light. All this is bound to take your on-road presence to the next level.
On board, you’ll enjoy a superior space kitted out with premium materials (including sumptuous leather seats). There’s a distinctive futuristic feeling, with three digital screens that features all the dashboard controls and information read-outs. This clean and concise design reflects Audi’s astute attention to detail.
As well as outstanding style, practicality is another focus in the cabin. A large 535-litre boot is on offer, and it rises up to 1,390 litres when you fold down the rear seats. It’s just another example of a flawless blend of style and substance.
Even entry-level models are generously equipped. As standard, you’ll enjoy an infotainment system with sat nav, climate control, front and rear parking sensors as well as cruise control. It’s all about making life on the road as relaxing as possible.
Cutting-edge technology is also featured in the engine line-up. At release, the A7 Sportback will be available with the 3.0 V6 TFSI turbo petrol engine. It produces 335bhp, and rises from 0-60mph in approximately 5 seconds – on its way to a limited top speed of 155mph. Later, this impressive unit will be joined by a range of other four and six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines (including a lower-powered V6 diesel).
All engines are kitted out with a state-of-the-art mild hybrid system, which uses a 48V electrical system to recoup energy under braking. In order to save fuel, the stop-start function switches seamlessly between electric motor and the car’s engine has been expanded to activate at 13mph.
To enhance your experience behind the wheel, the new A7 Sportback boasts no fewer than 39 driver assistance systems to ensure maximum safety for everyone on board. They’re divided into three packages: the artificial intelligence parking package, City assist and Tour assist. The latter features a clever efficiency assistant, designed to help you keep fuel consumption down.
