Introducing The Audi Q8

The all-new Audi Q8 has been unveiled and is set to shake up the ever-growing premium SUV market in 2019.

The new design of the Q8 is similar to that of the body of an Audi coupe, as prominently seen by the roofline of the silhouette. It also has been influenced by the recent changes in the design philosophy of Audi, for instance a large single frame grille can be seen on the front whereas the back has a black high-gloss light strip.

Inside of this new coupe-SUV, the infotainment system is an Audi MMI touch response display that uses a black panel look, giving it a unique and simplistic style, devoid of clusters of buttons. However, there will be two touchscreens one of which is a virtual cockpit instrument cluster. The Q8 will also use HD matrix LED headlights that will perform a brief animation when indicating or when the vehicle is un/locked. All of which will become controllable via the myAudi app on a smartphone.

As standard, the Audi Q8 will come with light-hybrid technology, allowing customers to save money on running-costs thanks to innovative features like enhanced start-stop and acceleration, in addition to better coasting.

There will also be a wide range of driver assistance systems too, such as adaptive cruise control with lane keep and speed limit adjustment. All of which is controlled by the 23 separate sensors equipped on the vehicle.
