Power

POWER

Land Rover PHEV models combine a lightweight 2 litre 300hp Si4 Ingenium petrol engine with a 105kW electric motor and a 13-kWh capacity battery powered with an external power source, to deliver an output of 404hp and CO2 emissions as low as 69g/km in Parallel Hybrid mode and zero CO2 emissions in EV mode, without compromising the exceptional power you'd expect from a Land Rover.

†CO2 & fuel economy figures may vary.

Driving Modes

DRIVING MODES

Both Land Rover PHEV models offer a fully electric mode (EV), which allows the vehicle to travel up to 26 miles with zero tailpipe emissions. When a higher mileage needs to be covered on longer journeys, both motors work together in Parallel Hybrid mode to achieve an astounding figure as low as 69g/km CO2 emissions, saving fuel and reducing the impact on the environment.

CHARGING OPTIONS

Land Rover PHEV models can be charged from home or by using public charging points, find out more below.

Home Charging

HOME CHARGING

A professionally-installed home charging point offers a full charge in just 2 hours, making the home charging point significantly more powerful than a domestic socket. What's more, the government's Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme can save £500 on installation.

3-Pin Socket

3-PIN SOCKET

When the Land Rover PHEV is plugged into a standard 3-pin plug socket - which is often used for electric household items - the PHEV models can achieve full charge in around 7 hours using the Land Rover charge cable. Simply plug in and keep your Land Rover topped up.

Public Charging

PUBLIC CHARGING

Demand for public charging stations has quickly been increasing, with thousands of public stations across the UK. Similarly to the home charging point, a full charge takes 2 hours. Some charging points are free, others require payment via a mobile app, membership or contactless card.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

An electric motor generates instant and full torque, providing breath-taking acceleration times. The Land Rover Sport PHEV reaches 60mph in 6.3 seconds.

WHAT IS THE RANGE OF A PHEV?

When using EV mode, Land Rover PHEVs offer up to a 26 milesrange. In Parallel Hybrid mode, a much larger range is possible.

CAN THE NATIONAL GRID HANDLES THE DEMAND?
