Audi Extends New Car & Extended Warranties

As a goodwill gesture for Audi owners in possession of a new car warranty or extended warranty, these will now be given a three month extension to help owners during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

To be eligible for this warranty extension, your Audi must meet the following requirements:

  • Model must have been produced in either Europe, Brazil, Mexico or India
  • Warranty has an original expiration date between 1st March & 31st May 2020

If eligible, your warranty's expiration date will be extended by three months based on the original expiration date.

Commenting on this measure of good gesture, Vice President of Retail Business Development and Customer Services -  Horst Hanschur said: "We are reaching out to our customers in these trying times and are enabling more flexibility in order to organize visits to Audi dealerships. Many of our dealer partners worldwide are still closed or just in the process of opening their doors again. We are therefore making adjustments in a number of areas in order to ensure our customers still have a premium experience with the Audi brand, as well as to ensure the future of our dealerships".

If your warranty has any mileage restrictions in place, these will still remain for any new car or extended warranties eligible for the extension.

Additionally, if your new car warranty with this extension overlaps with your Audi extended warranty, your extended warranty will begin three months later instead, free of charge.

If you have any questions or for more information on warranties, please contact your local Harwoods Audi dealership today.

The above extensions are a one-time, goodwill gesture by Audi due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and are not an acknowledgement or any legal obligation. Nor do these imply any such obligiation in the future. #33714
