Meet the all-new Audi Q5 Sportback

Audi has revealed the new Audi Q5 Sportback. The new SUV coupé model will be Audi’s latest addition to the Sportback family, following the success of the Audi Q3 Sportback and Audi e-tron Sportback.

The new Q5 Sportback will follow the comfort and everyday usability of its SUV sibling, Audi Q5, but it will also offer a more sporty, elegant design, combined with the newest Audi innovation.

Audi has redesigned the new Q5 Sportback with a more sporty and powerful character. The air intake trims in the front bumper have been tweaked with vertical brackets to give it a more powerful structure.

The side of the car is now more curvaceous, and the rear of the car has seen a major design change. Although the new Audi Q5 Sportback is seven millimetres longer than the Audi Q5, the roofline cuts downwards at the back of the car beautifully. The rear bumper also has a seemingly high-mounted design. These dynamic design tweaks at the back of the car give the new Q5 Sportback its powerful coupe look.

The new Audi Q5 Sportback comes with distinctive Audi LED headlights as standard. However, Matrix LED headlights with automatic high beam and dynamic turn signals are also available as an option.

With the new Audi Q5 Sportback, Audi now offers the innovative rear lights with the new digital OLED technology. When you order your new Q5 Sportback, you can now select from three rear light signatures. Each LED can be controlled individually and adopted into different scenarios.

The Q5 Sportback will feature other innovative Audi technology, such as a MMI infotainment system paired with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and an optional 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit, and the standard safety and driver assist systems.

The new Q5 Sportback will also feature the latest infotainment system with improved voice control which will respond to the phrase ‘hey Audi’.

The Engine Range

The first engine options for the new Q5 Sportback will be 2.0-litre engines which will include a 204hp 40 TFSI petrol and 204hp 40 TDI diesel. The SQ5 Sportback TDI will be available with a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine and two plug-in hybrid TFSI e models will be joining the line up later. Of course, all these versions will be equipped with Quattro all-wheel drive.

The new Audi Q5 Sportback will come with various trim options which are Sport, S line, Vorsprung and Edition One specification.

The deliveries for the new Audi Q5 Sportback are set to begin in the first half of 2021 in the UK.
