Introducing The Jaguar XE Reims Edition

To celebrate the success of the new XE saloon, Jaguar has introduced a limited run of special edition cars, exclusively for UK customers.

The new XE Reims Edition will include a whole host of exclusive features, adding to the already high level of luxury in the standard model. The new limited-edition Reims model will be the first of a series of ‘Jaguar Factory Specials’ – limited production run vehicles with bespoke features and details overlaid on Jaguar’s current award-winning vehicle range.

XE Reims Edition models will feature a large selection of entirely bespoke features, including an XE first, black contrast roof, as well as black mirror caps and black sill inserts to line the door panels, enhancing the already sporty design. The new edition will also see the French Racing Blue exterior body colour, previously featured on the limited run XKR-S and XFR-S models.

The name for the limited run model has been inspired by the Reims-Gueux racing circuit in the famous Champagne region in northern France. The circuit is no longer in use but is a key element in Jaguar’s racing history as it is where drivers Ken Wharton and Peter Whitehead secured a stunning maiden victory for the Jaguar D-Type during the 1954 12-hour endurance race.

The new Reims Edition XE boasts the popular 2.0 litre P250 RWD Ingenium petrol engine, offering an astounding 0-60mph time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 155mph. Whist the exterior houses 19” 5 split-spoke Gloss Black alloy wheels, privacy glass, a Gloss Black grille and surround, as well as Gloss Black side window surrounds and side vents.

Inside, occupants can enjoy comfort and style with heated seats and the cold climate pack as standard, including a heated windscreen, headlight power wash and a heated steering wheel.

The new XE Reims Edition will be available in January 2020.
