As the new face of the Audi brand, the sustainable, dynamic, and high-performance new Audi e-tron GT made its debut at a digital world premiere across two events on Tuesday 9th February 2021, as part of the Day of Progress. The event showcased the model's highlights including driving peformance, emotional design and its dedication to sustainability.

The event took place via two excting online live streams. The first Sprint of Progress event featured Audi experts, as well as Formula E champion Lucas di Grassi explaining the engineering progress of modern electromobility, as well as showcasing the intelligence and sustainability of the new e-tron GT.
The second stream, Celebration of Progress featred the world premiere of the new GT and viewers enjoyed insights from guests such as, Markus Duesmann, CEO of AUDI AG, and Hildegard Wortmann, Board Member for Sales and Marketing, along with further prominent guests like designer Stella McCartney and actor Tom Hardy, all presenting highlights of the stunning new model.

Infused with passion, progress and performance, the all-electric masterwork is the latest highly-anticipated addition to the Audi e-tron family – making its mark as the new spearhead of the Four Rings.
As the name suggests, the gran turismo boasts five seats, two luggage compartments, sophisticated technology, and seamless connectivity as standard. As part of the e-tron family, the new e-tron GT is fully-electric, fitted with performance enhancing technology for a thrilling drive – a new era of Audi Sport. The e-tron GT world premiere will also detail the most powerful variant, the RS e-tron GT. Plus, both models include Audi quattro for optimum traction.
Developed and tested in expert sound labs, the new model offers an optional electronic sound with an additional loudspeaker at the rear, plus two interior loudspeakers, the sound creates the added feel of sports performance with electric technology.
When it comes to the battery, the e-tron GT provides purposeful acceleration thanks to advanced thermal management, including four cooling circuits to keep the electrical components within the optimal temperature range. What’s more, high-tech suspension is also encompassed for comfortable cornering and exciting handling, working perfectly with the exhilarating electric powertrain. The GT is also the first to offer the option of brake discs coated with tungsten carbide, which offer 30% more durability and 90% less particulate matter due to brake wear. Carbon-fibre ceramic brake discs are also available.
