Job Purpose

Harwoods Accident Repair Centre,based in Crawley, require an HGV Class 1 driver (will consider Class 2) to collect and deliver customers. damaged, new, used cars.

Smart appearance and good customer skills would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To collect and deliver customers or company vehicles as requested.
  • To comply with all Government & EU Legislation relevant to driving HGV vehicles.
  • To ensure that vehicles collected and delivered correctly, by following documented procedures in order to achieve complete customer satisfaction.To immediately report any damage or vehicle faults to your manager.
  • Have experience in vehicle recovery would be advantageous.
  • To ensure you’re properly attired in Company Uniform and present best possible image to customers.To drive safely and ensure that all guidelines and regulations on health and safety and road traffic regulations are adhered to. Any fines occurred by your fault will be your own responsibility.
  • To record and report any customer complaints or non-conformance of the quality system.
  • To maintain the security of all allocated vehicles, keys and company and customers property.
  • To maintain good working relationships with other staff and customers.
  • Must have a Full Clean Licence, Digital Tachograph Card and Full Drivers CPC

  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK.



  • Call centre/vehicle service department experience.
